You can read about Garrett's first Ironman 70.3 experience here and here.

Garrett congratulating Mike after he finished. This was Mike's first Ironman 70.3 and he and Garrett were a HUGE support support system for each other throughout their training. They swam almost every morning and ran or biked {sometimes both} in the afternoons. Mike also rocked it and finished just a few minutes after Garrett.

Mike jokingly calls Garrett "Coach Garrett" and when one of them were feeling tired and didn't want to workout the other would say "What would Lance do?" (as in Lance Armstrong), which would instantly motivate them.

Two happy Ironman 70.3 Finishers!! Way to go guys!!
