White Christmas in Alabama!

This photo was taken on Christmas day at my family farm in North Alabama! Can you believe it? It snowed on us in Birmingham and Montgomery a little on Christmas and yesterday... the perfect kind of snow that makes you want to curl up in front of the fire but doesn't stick.

I hope you had a joyous Christmas, we are still enjoying our time with family and friends!

Also, I just got word that Marcie and Justin have reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro - what a huge accomplishment! So proud of them!

Auburn National Championship Attire

A friend of mine is heading to Arizona next month to watch Auburn play in the National Championship game (!!!) and she asked me to help her with a gameday outfit. Now, I'm no fashionista but I do enjoy putting a cute outfit together from time to time.

Here's what I came up with:

I am all about some flat boots and dresses right now - and that neck wrap is super cute. It sounds like it will be in the 60s while she is there, so I figure this outfit will keep her warm, especially with the neck wrap. If not, she could always throw a pair of brown leggings in her bag and throw them on if she gets chilly.

Also, Judith March, a designer who happens to be an Alabama girl, has some super cute orange and blue dresses that would be perfect for gameday. Apparently Chizik's wife wears her stuff! Now if I could only find her in Seattle...
