A couple weekends ago we headed over the pass to sunny Eastern Washington for Tony Farina's wedding. Tony is Garrett's fraturnity brother and was a groomsmen in our wedding. Funny story about Tony: When he came to Alabama for our wedding he got a kick out of sweet tea and I swear all he said the whole entire weekend of our wedding was -- "Heyy, do y'all wont some sweet tea?" -- in the most thick southern accent you have ever heard! It was hilarious! So I got to talking with his wife, Karla, at their wedding reception and she told me that he kept repeating that line to her for weeks after he got back from Ala-bama!
Anyway, their wedding was absolutely gorgeous! The ceremony was held outside at a nursery in Walla Walla. It was a beautiful day and the trees swaying in the wind added a lovely romantic touch to their ceremony! Their reception was at the Historic Marcus Whitman Hotel in Walla Walla where we had a blast dancing the night away as you can see below.
Walla Walla is famous for its sweet onions as well as its many wineries. We didn't see any onion stands however we did manage to come across a couple wineries on the drive in. ;)

Here we are at 3 Rivers Winery...

This winery had a three hole golf course (which is not normal but we thought was a neat idea).. so we decided to bring our wine outside and play a few holes of golf!
To sum it all up, I'd say we had a Wonderful Wedding/Wine tasting Weekend in Walla Walla!
